Jason Mayer spent the first part of his adult life as a Marine Corps combat correspondent covering stories on five continents and more than fifty countries. After leaving the Marine Corps, he spent eight years working with government contractors, supervising publishing projects. Today, Jason is the partner in a construction company that designs, builds, and sells playgrounds and recreational construction projects. He has authored and contributed prose and artwork for several books, including Parables of Lucas Fosterman, Fuzzy Dragons and Wild Yetis, and Reported for Duty.
