Sukanya Majumdar is a non-binary artist born in a remote district, South 24 Parganas, in West Bengal, India. Since childhood, she has shown a deep inclination in art, music and literature and unconventional creative works, including movies that depict the societal plight of the underprivileged and the underrepresented in society. She has been a victim of homophobia in society, among her family and peers during her school and college life. Sukanya is a published author, with multiple works published accross different magazines internationally.
