Rita Maria Martinez is the author of The Jane and Bertha in Me (Kelsay Books). Rita’s poetry raises awareness about triumphs and challenges when navigating chronic daily headache and migraine. Her poetry appears in The Best American Poetry Blog, Ploughshares, Tupelo Quarterly, in CLMP’s 2023 Disability Pride Reading List, and elsewhere.
