And scars.” Carella is a poet and digital artist who uses writing and art to explore avenues of self and healing. She is the recipient of the Stanley Fefferman Prize in Creative Writing (2006) and 2nd place winner in the Open Minds Quarterly BrainStorm Poetry Contest (2017).
