Alexa Jared

Alexandria Jared is a Denver-based queer/transgender visual/performance artist who uses the pronouns she/her. She creates self-portraits of many forms and jewelry-based accessories, such as crowns and wands, that protect her from society’s bigotry. By creating the portraits, she shows the many phases of herself as she transitions into more of the vision she sees herself portraying into the world. She also tries to create art on a small, affordable scale, and at an affordable price, in exchange for her medical needs as she transitions genders.
