A lot of what we do here at Thimble is the antithesis of gen ai. We support original, human work. I assumed my peers in the indie publishing / writing / creating spaces felt the same with regards to gen ai. I was wrong. To that end, I started an initiative called EIAIO–so named because whimsy is the opposite of ai. You can take the pledge to be against ai here.
It’s super bare-bones for now, but spit-and-string has always been my speed, and ai has always been about bells and whistles. I aim to add more resources to it later.
